DA.AI began with a plastic bottle hand-collected by a volunteer. From collection and regeneration to textile manufacturing and product applications, we continue to explore new possibilities for resource circulation, bringing discarded materials back into the value chain and turning environmental awareness into everyday action.
From a Plastic Bottle to a Warm Embrace
Chengdu DA.AI Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2010, covering 70 mu. It originated as a charitable public-welfare project of Tzu Chi Charity Foundation's assistance program for the "5·12" Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan.
Over the years, the company has continued to promote the recycling of discarded plastic bottles and environmental awareness. Materials are sourced from plastic bottles hand-collected by environmental volunteers, processed through green technologies into recycled fibers, and further applied to eco blankets, clothing, and home products.
From one plastic bottle to a piece of clothing, a blanket, and more everyday products, DA.AI continues to explore pathways for material circulation, enabling resources to be reused and bringing environmental protection into daily life. Today, this work is expanding from recycled-resource products toward fabric R&D, textile product development, and industrial collaboration.
Transform Waste into Value and Keep Resources in Circulation
The rebirth of a plastic bottle is more than a single recycling process. From volunteer collection to recycled PET fibers and then to blankets, clothing, and home products, resources re-enter the cycle of production and use.
At the same time, DA.AI continues to connect environmentally friendly materials with the textile industry, exploring functional fabrics, eco materials, and broader product applications so that circular materials can serve more diverse uses.
From Eco Materials to More Textile Applications
In March 2026, the Shaoxing Branch of Chengdu DA.AI Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Keqiao, Shaoxing's textile industry cluster. Focusing on functional fabric development and application, the branch further extends DA.AI's work in eco materials and textiles.
Connecting the Upstream with More Products and Markets
Leveraging Keqiao's complete textile industry chain, the Shaoxing Branch connects upstream raw materials, weaving and dyeing-finishing with downstream brands, factories and markets. From raw material sourcing and fabric development to apparel sampling, product design and production, we provide flexible product development and supply-chain coordination for different market needs.
The business also extends to creative products, curtains and other textile-related products, while developing new media operations and international trade, connecting fabric R&D results with more products and markets.
Milestones
Chengdu DA.AI Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established.
The eco park was officially established, integrating two major functions: "plastic recycling textile production" and "environmental humanities education."
Eco blankets officially entered the market, followed by eco scarves, clothing, and home products.
In partnership with the local government, the "Green Action · Beautiful Huai Zhou" campaign was launched with participation from tens of thousands of people.
In response to plastic-reduction policies, the "Green Action · Plastic Battle" initiative was carried out across the region through the "Beautiful Huai Zhou" campaign.
The "Healthy Vegetarian" project was launched, combining offline vegetarian experiences with carbon-reduction education.
The "Bottle Safety Program" was officially launched, practicing the principle of "Clean at the Source, Protect the Earth in Every Bottle."
A study-tour base was established together with the Chengdu Cultural and Creative Exchange, promoting environmental education through hands-on practice.
The Shaoxing Branch of Chengdu DA.AI Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established, expanding into functional fabric R&D, product development, and textile industry collaboration.
The number of companies participating in the "Bottle Safety Program" exceeded 329.
